well from a peaceful night in one of the six individually-styled bedrooms with crooked beams and comfy beds.
Welcome to The Old Farmhouse, offering AA 4 star bed and breakfast, in the Regency town of Sidmouth.
The Old Farmhouse is a lovely sixteenth-century listed farmhouse that dates back to 1569. It has an adjoining cottage, which once housed the local cider mill. This is said to be one of the oldest buildings of its kind in Sidmouth. Over the years, we have updated this much loved building to include all modern amenities, whilst taking care to preserve its original appearance and character.
Our farmhouse stands in an award winning and beautifully maintained garden. There is also a pretty, secluded courtyard for guests to relax in. We are ideally situated in a quiet residential area of Sidmouth, on the edge of the Byes Park. Car parking is available in the private drive and in the quiet and wide adjacent road.
It is just a short walk to both the town and sea, where you will find individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Close by is Sidmouth’s pebble beach sheltered by its magnificent red sandstone Jurassic cliffs.
When you stay at the Old Farmhouse, we would like you to feel that our home is your home. You will have access to the Old Farmhouse at all times. We are on hand to provide local knowledge and advice for planning your days and evenings out. If you choose to book an evening meal, you can relax after you have dined in a cosy lounge to chat, watch TV or read a book. There is no rush, you are on holiday.
